The autumn holidays are approaching, and as far as we are concerned, you really don't have to go far to make the most of them. An autumn holiday in Brabant is full of outdoor adventures, beautiful routes, and enjoyable outings, often just a stone's throw from home.

From Buitengoed de Bollen in Oirschot, we see every year how the surroundings change in the autumn. It gets quieter, nature becomes more spectacular, and the days call for a warm coat and a thermos of coffee. We are happy to share our favorite ways to enjoy autumn around Oirschot.

Why an autumn holiday in Brabant works so well

Brabant is at its most beautiful in autumn. Forests, heathlands, and fields alternate, and paths line the landscape, inviting you to set out. Oirschot is centrally located between Eindhoven, Tilburg, and Den Bosch. This means you are right in the middle of nature, yet have a charming city quickly within reach should it rain heavily.

These are our favorite autumn activities around Oirschot:

  • Walking across the Kampina or the Oirschotse Heide, with rustling leaves under your feet and fresh air in your lungs.
