Back on Track (Joe Cocker Cover Band)
An enthusiastic 9-piece formation, one band, two faces:
The Ultimate Joe Cocker Experience.
And
The rock band played a repertoire from the 60s and 70s.
An unforgettable performance with Joe Cocker's greatest hits and your favourite music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Back on Track speelt een repertoire which will surely cheer you up, as many have already found.
The Buttshakers Show
The Buttshakers Show consists of four men who have been travelling the country together for years, performing their Dutch pop, steeped in American rock and roll and heavy guitars. Their swinging sets, with occasional serious ballads, ensure a cracker of an evening or afternoon full of uptempo tracks. Songs by Dire Straits, Roy Orbison, Klein Orkest, De Dijk, and Bruce Springsteen colour their versatile sets.
The virtuoso guitar playing is alternated with thumping bass lines, supported by heavy drums and bluesy blues harp sessions.
The band plays in cafes, packed venues and festivals through their interaction with the audience and their fun with each other.
No Haven's (VOF de Kunst)
Sorry, known from VOF de Kunst, sings and plays songs from his own repertoire and performs a number of songs that have been important to him. He's been through a lot and has a lot to tell.
In ‘Suzanne voorbij’ you'll be taken through 38 years of VOF de Kunst. Memories and familiarity. His best songs, his good and also difficult times. With two feet back on the ground after the passing of his wife, his parents, his sister and his best friend. It brought many changes and grief. And what did he, as a down-to-earth Brabander, think of that success?
He will tell you all about it and you may ask questions about life and songs, and you may sing along if you feel the urge. Nol with his guitar alone on a stage... his personal story.
Björn van der Doelen
Former professional footballer Björn van der Doelen (PSV, Standaard Liège, FC Twente and NEC Nijmegen) stopped playing football before he was 30 to pursue music, among other things. He is now seasoned and, after the release of his last album "Na ons de zondvloed" (After Us the Deluge), has released six more albums.
A theatre tour with Karin Bruers and Henk van Straten (2014), a club tour as a support act for Guus Meeuwis (2016), a theatre tour with his band de huursoldaten (2017 and 2019), and a few hundred performances (since 2007) in large and very small venues, theatres, living rooms, and at festivals have ensured that Van der Doelen is now extremely comfortable on stage. A character that is never far from a smile. Someone who can tell a story. Not poetic nonsense but true words.
Van der Doelen likes to hold up a mirror to his listeners through his genuine, heartfelt, sometimes slightly uncomfortable, but above all, incredibly honest stories.
Van der Doelen jokingly refers to himself as the pearl of Brabant. As far as we're concerned, quite rightly so!
Arti Academy
Arti Academy The Oirschot ensemble is intended to teach ensemble playing. Making music is even more fun when you can do it together! Musicians taking lessons (wind and percussion instruments) are welcome to join in. Having fun and learning a lot go hand in hand. The orchestra is led by qualified teacher/conductor Claudy van Bokhoven.
Arti Academy has dozens of performances to its name. Consider the spooky performances during the big Halloween event in Oirschot, the performance at Groot Bijstervelt, and the performances on King's Day.
